- ARE President, Simon A. Evans has over 25 years of engineering experience working throughout Alaska.
- His most notable achievement to date is the creation of Stabilice™ Ground Cooling Technology for Permafrost Foundation Systems.

Engineering Solutions by Applied Engineering
As the Regional Mechanical Engineer, Mr. Evans Provided Mechanical Engineering Design, Consulting and Project Management for the Alaska Region National Park Service.
Provide Engineering Services to maintain region-wide mechanical and electrical systems
for Park Service infrastructure and facilities located throughout a wide geographical
region ranging from Arctic to Temperate climates in Alaska.
Serve as a COR (Contracting Office Representative) and prepare contract documents to
include project scope, cost estimates, schematic designs and other supporting
documentation to ensure successful project award and completion.
Direct the maintenance, replacement and modernization of Mechanical Systems,
including HVAC equipment, power generation, micro-grid infrastructure, and fire
suppression systems.
